Andrew C. Lake

Andrew Lake is a shareholder in the firm of Pitts & Lake, P.C., practicing in the area of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and product designs. He assists clients in the preparation and prosecution of patent, trademark, and copyright applications, and counsels clients in the acquisition, protection, and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Mr. Lake received a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics from Cleveland State University, with an emphasis in RF communications, computer networks, electric circuits, and semiconductor design. Mr. Lake graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1999 and earned a MBA degree from John Carroll University. Prior to law school, Mr. Lake worked for over 10 years as a computer programmer and electrical engineer for a precision manufacturer of medical devices in the areas of radiographic scanners, lasers, computer aided design, and ultrasonic diagnostic equipment.
Mr. Lake is admitted to the Bars of the State of Tennessee, District of Columbia, State of Ohio, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Knoxville Bar Association, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
